We build and operate natural treatment systems, converting community waste—septage and municipal sewage sludge— into valuable agricultural products. We provide our communities with the most environmentally–responsible and lowest–cost solution available.

We manage fully licensed, private facilities and end to end private utility services for municipal governments: from waste treatment and monitoring to customer billing and collection.

Bioregen Treatment Stages:

Our facilities use five natural ecologies to convert septage and sludge waste into clean water.

	1. Reed Bed The estuary delta ecology removes water from the waste stream.
	2.Hyacinth Lagoon The lagoon ecology area contains a first pond that mixes and equalizes effluent, and a second pond that nitrifies and reduces BOD/COD.
	3.Trickling Filter The river and waterfall ecology further advances the nitrification process.
	4.Constructed Wetland The wetland or marsh ecology suspends metals, dissolves solids, removes pathogens, and denitrifies.
	5.Re-circulating Sand Filter The sand river bank ecology filters, disinfects and oxygenates water.

Bioregen Products

In addition to reducing heavy metals and eliminating pollutants, we create these valuable resources for local communities:

Vermiculture/Composting
Earthworms convert sludge into premium compost.
Abundant worms can be used for animal farm feedstock.

Irrigation Water
Bioregen-cleaned water can irrigate onsite plant nurseries for local species restoration and landscaping.

Agriculture
Diverse agricultural products, such as edible mushrooms, medicinal plants and bio-fuel plants can be grown.
